I always thought if I communicated enough, there would be change. But that's not the case. You can communicate until you run out of breath but if there's no comprehension, your words are useless.

The truth is, you will really end up disappointed if you think people will do for you as you do for them. Not everyone has the same heart, depth, or capacity to love and care the way you do.

Your partner will affect your nervous system, your choices, your sleep, and your beliefs. If they can’t take responsibility for the energy they bring to the relationship, you won't have peace in your life.
