You can't mate-guard her, not even a little bit. When I was 23-24, I tried a "closed open relationship" with my ex-girlfriend. We can fuck other people... but only in front of each other (i.e. swinging and threesome situations). I stayed loyal to the original agreement like a fucking retard. She fucked plenty of other guys on the down low. From thereon, I realized that you can never mate-guard her. Set all the ground rules you want; if there's 0 way of enforcing them, those rules are as good as non-existent. You can't verify it (what are you going to do, surveil her 24/7?), so it all relies on blind faith. This is why I don't believe in monogamy anymore. I know I'm swimming upstream against the current, and the current is only getting stronger. You're way more at peace if you just assume that she's already fucking other guys (she most likely is), and you act accordingly. How would you act if, no matter what you say or do, she's already fucking other guys, and you can't stop her, and you will never change her mind? Would you marry her? Would you move in with her? Would you provide for her? Would you ever take her seriously? I know that's a "no" for me on all 4 counts. I've figured this out more than 10 years ago, and I've already adapted to modern dating realities. What about you?
