Still thinking about Iron Fist chapter 12. All levity essentially disappears. Allston stays on Face’s POV almost the entire time. There’s no reprieve, it’s just one long march toward the inevitable. Even down to the symbolism; Face initially landing in a marsh (stagnant) (1)
