The boldness with which you all just conclude on people’s life based off a 10 seconds clip is actually wild

This man isn’t not into this woman i can’t just prove it 😒😏 I was even expecting him to kiss her 🙂↔️ But in movies he will be kissing actresses so passionately 😏

@OlayemiKomolaf4 She had me stunned with that beauty, what was that natural skin tone beauty that graced our screens🤭

I really don’t get the hype with Uche Montana’s face card .

You see why people love Uche Montana!! No noise, no shading just pure gratitude👏 Her movie hit 9m views in 1 day and not once did she throw shade at anybody. That’s how you carry success with grace. Monica part 1 & 2 Beautiful storyline and well delivered. Thank you Uche Montana for giving us something real👏🔥

@nonskylazz And if Bobo no Dey careful, Ebube go become provider, Omo
English

Family patterns run deep in the family.
The women are the providers. A pattern seen from Monica's mother and in her life.
Monica's father is weak, lazy and not a provider a trait that passed on to his only son, Bobo, who shows the same behaviour in his marriage to Sharon.
TIMI OF LAGOS🍷@manliketimi_
Since we've watched Monica part 2 😁, Let's rate the movie and discuss how much Monica sacrificed for her family.

This was 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒍𝒚 expecting from part one .
I really thought we were going to find out that Monica wasn’t their actual child.
1. Because the love was there when she was younger… not until that first shift , the whole exam registration situation.
2. And of all people to react that way, it was the mum. The same woman that used to hawk pap with her on that same street.
3. That’s why I had already created that storyline in my head… maybe Mama Monica’s sister had dropped her with them before she passed.
4. Because the level of wickedness in part one? It was too much 🤭 I was honestly looking for anything that would explain it.
5. While others were focused on her not going to Canada from the trailer, my own concern was simply , who is her real mother?
6. Then part two came and made everything clear… she was actually their biological child. And to me, Monica just seemed like a victim of a mother who had clear favourites kids.
7. which is why One thing that really stayed with me was when the fashion boss asked about her story in relation to sewing an outfit, and she said it was about strength, identity, and holding everything together when it feels like it’s falling apart.
That part carried a lot of weight.
8. Because honestly, without those qualities, she would have completely broken down.
9. I loved the moment she finally chose not to be a victim anymore especially with that slap.
10. I loved that she focused on her dreams despite everything.
11. And I loved that she found a good man , someone grounded, intentional, and wise enough to guide her towards forgiveness and even quoted Scriptures? perfect spec man 😊.
12. I also loved how she didn’t forget her friend, and showed up for the one person who stood by her through everything.
13. and that scene where her dad was blessing her from his sick bed… that has to be the most emotional scene in the movie cause it really touched me.
14. The only part that didn’t quite sit right with me was seeing her coming back to reunite and sweeping the compound 🤭 . I just kept wondering why and it was pinching me? when Bobo the non challant brother was there?
15. Overall, this is a beautiful movie. And if it was my first time watching an Uche Montana work , it will definitely make stucked forever. . She delivered completely.
16. Everything felt real , from the younger versions of the characters resembling them so well, to the older casting, to the rawness of certain scenes even entering dirty water. Ah. I give it to her.
A solid 9/10 for me.
This isn’t just a movie… it’s something a lot of people will deeply relate to.

Yes I’ll admit
That post about Caesarian section triggered me
Because I’m a woman who was in labour for 40 hours
I was given the maximum dose of oxytocin three times to induce labour and did not dilate beyond 2cm
I was so mentally prepared to push out a human but my body just wouldn’t
Which one should I talk about?
The intense pain ripping through me every few minutes?
Should I talk about how excruciating it is to have doctors check you for dilation while you’re actively in labour?
Should I talk about the exhaustion?
Should I talk about how that when those who have vaginal delivery have long forgotten CS moms are still grappling with wounds and pain and numbness and tingling from the anaesthetsia?
I had my baby in Canada and the nurses kept asking me if I wanted a pain relief
I did not want any drug to interfere
I was ready to bear the pain and I did
I think I have the most supportive husband in the world. He stood there every second with me. Holding my hand. Wincing as Pain coursed through me
But he did not feel the pain. Not the physical one.
I did.
So has every woman who has gone through this
When the doctors saw that my contractions were not the “good type”, they said I could get a uterine rupture, I had to be taken for a CS.
And everyday I’m grateful to God for the miracle of a CS
That a mother who has given her all can still have her baby and they both be fine
So sir, when you have had contractions for 40 hours
When you have had 7 layers of your body sliced open so you can bring forth children
When you have gone months nursing a wound that is layers deep
When you’ve been placed on a cold surgical table and cut 7 layers deep
For some 4 times.
Then come back and have this Conversation with me
Thank God for your mother and the long line of women in your family that had vaginal deliveries.
But no two women are the same.
Don’t put that burden on the woman you would marry.
A CS is not a shortcut
A CS does not make a woman weak
A CS does not happen because you did not pray enough or you’re unlucky
A CS is a medical miracle so that women like me especially pre term moms, can come out alive from the mystery that is pregnancy and childbirth
Blessings.

Let’s talk about Bobo
I don’t know who is more wicked between mama Monica and Bobo
Monica gave him her sewing machine money to marry his wife
Monica gave her room to his wife
Monica started providing for him and his wife
Monica gave him 150k to open a mini phone accessories shop
Monica paid for his wife's CS
And he had the mind to slap Monica and asked: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME????? 😳
