Also: this only confirms my long held belief that it’s NOT “all about The Ashes”, that is disrespectful to other teams. And to test cricket. That was a better series that had it all, than all the Ashes battles since 2005.

Very moved by that and what test cricket means. As day in day out football gets set to dominate again, that was true sport played in a brilliant spirit, a cliche “cricket is the winner” but never more appropriate, it didn’t matter who won. This went beyond “come on England”.

Great to be part of the team for @JMUJournalism at Production Futures Live at The Manchester Arena. Meeting youngsters considering media and journalism careers.
