“Multiple press outlets have reported that Tucker Carlson went to the White House in the weeks before the bombs fell on Iran, sitting across from the president in three separate Oval Office meetings to lay out the case against the war. Tucker hasn’t been talking about the visits, but he’s been laying out the reasons why to the American people via his own program. These reasons include the potential cost in American blood, the fracturing of Arab partnerships that are more meaningful and productive than our partnership with Israel, and the naked fact that the only reason the strike was on the table was that Benjamin Netanyahu forced him into it.
The latter reason has been independently verified by Trump’s own team, including the Speaker of the House (after leaving a SCIF), by SecDef Hegseth, by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, by congressional leaders, and by his own press secretary. His decision has been characterized as “forced” by almost everyone, and not forced by Iran, but by Israel.”
