@dreamy_dot_dev sure a game can be praised based on its impact on future titles and gaming as a whole but if youre reviewing the game itself, its impact shouldnt be what decides if its "good" or not, that should be for the actual gameplay

@dreamy_dot_dev i havent played adventure 1 yet, mainly because i like to 100% games and ive heard adventure 1 is really annoying for it, but i look for gameplay first and foremost in any game, so regardless of a games impact, if its not fun, then i dont think its a good game yknow

@dreamy_dot_dev my assumption is they spent a majority of the time making the sonic and shadow levels the best they could, so a lot of time went into those, then they moved on to the mech stages which they had less time for, and once they got to treasure hunting, they just gave the fuck up

@dreamy_dot_dev true, the sonic gameplay is great, a lot of fun, the mech stages are OK, and the treasure hunting stages are probably the least fun ive had playing a game, not just a sonic game i think the adventure games spread things out too much so things never have the time to be better
