A lot of users are curious about how our TMR joysticks handle the magnetic interference from the Switch 2’s built-in magnets, especially with the Joy-Con 2’s magnetic attachment system — which indeed raises the bar for anti-interference design. Here’s how we solve it: 1⃣During structural design, we optimized the internal layout based on magnetic field simulation data, positioning the TMR sensing components further away from the console’s magnet system. 2⃣The joystick housing is made with an iron-containing alloy material, which further helps shield external magnetic interference. With these efforts, the TMR joystick maintains strong resistance to magnetic disturbance, performing consistently on par with original carbon-film sticks, without being affected by the console’s magnetic structure. @tonyt3rry @GuliKitDesign Yes. I got a pair from Ali express and confirmed they were in fact Hall effect. When I put a magnet to them they moved in calibration. But the magnets in the switch 2 have zero effect on the sticks. Basically Nintendo didn’t want to do Hall effect. Probably for repair profits.
