@John_Mehaffey @TheBettorLife The snowbird target makes sense. Seems smart for programs to separate timelines a bit no matter what though and potentially avoid losing a player to another program because they were a little closer to tier in December there…

@JustWonOne @TheBettorLife Rampart resets on March and September 1, probably to accommodate snowbirds. They even have a snowbird pause tier application. It's a nice change, though the lower tiers of their program are hard to achieve and offer little.

Not necessarily looking for tax advice here, but I'm confused how I can reasonably play slots moving forward with these new tax laws.
I have 100+ handpays a year, which granted will shrink with the $2000 change... but I foresee owing taxes on 100k+ on slot winnings in 2026 with this 90% loss deduction, despite losing for the year I'm sure. Am I missing something?
