So Nolan was probably expecting Mark to get his powers within the first few years of his life, then by 10 or 11 started thinking he might not get them ever, eventually made peace with that because he was enjoying his family, so when Mark finally does get them, he's like 'fuck.'

@OocTobeyM I liked the final film's location changing montage just fine. Having it reference the other films would take away the surprise of the two Peters and really feels like nostalgia farming shoved down the throat.
