Here at AFN meeting on the Long-Term Reform for FNCFS and alarmed by how undemocratic the processes are. Regional chiefs are requesting for their voices to be heard, for expert testimonies to be made, & are being dismissed one after the other with the same requests.

First Nations Leadership are being to asked to vote on an incomplete agreement that will affect their children for generations. Here are some resources to inform their decision making.

Getting the best for children means welcoming different ideas. The draft FSA proposes to replace First Nations decision making on the reformed funding approach for ten years to a confidential committee that includes Canada. The @CaringSociety believes First Nations, not a secret committee, should direct the decisions that will impact their children.
