@BaReclaimer @BeastKing1981 Yes, and the problem with her encounter with Bison is that, besides completely humiliating the character, the encounter was totally unnecessary narratively speaking (in the end we know that they bring Bison back because he sells, this is the reason)

@i9ndigo @BeastKing1981 I loved Juri's arcade ending, and the encounter with Bison practically ruined the path the character was taking (there's still a chance that Bison's ending won't be canon, and I'm hoping for that)

@JusticeMasked @BeastKing1981 Your both right, shes going threw character development so shes going threw the dumps, but her losing to bison just feels like back tracking her (its dumb hes even in this game). It sux. The mai thing is whatever, at least her chun fight was good, and world tour gives her aura.

Damn, Juri Han from Street Fighter 4 really had an imposing presence, an elegance, bearing and an "aura" that I really wish they had kept in SF6, In that aspect the character declined over time, both narratively and in herself, but I still love her in SF6, amazing character

Yes, they really nailed it in all of Chun-Li's outfits, and i'm so grateful, street fighter 6 made Chun-Li the way she is, and that's fair, because she is the greatest female character in the fighting games, the queen💙

Here's a crossover where she's well represented (despite the game itself being bad), the trailer for Juri Han in Street Fighter x Tekken is more iconic than the entire crossover with Mai (I wish that crossover had been amazing).

Even her theme in USFIV is very powerful, impactful, dynamic, and energetic, just like the character, with a boss-like energy (the SF6 theme is also great)

@JusticeMasked I'm actually interested in where she goes in SF6. I think it's an interesting direction.
But the flanderization of her character - yeah, I think I'm inclined to agree. Still love her, though.

This is the same girl, she’s just not special and new anymore so she isn’t marketed as a super important threat all the time.

@i9ndigo @BeastKing1981 And I say this agreeing that Mai defeats Juri, in fact i think mai is stronger but the way it was done and the reduction they made to Juri is bizarre. This crossover doesn't even come close to Chun-Li x Mai, that one respects the characters and represents them accurately

@i9ndigo @BeastKing1981 There are ways to portray a character's defeat without disrespecting or misrepresenting them. Unfortunately, with Juri, the barrier and the quality of the character have already been broken+
