R.I.P Andrew Loney💕. Andrew became a part of my family during the summer of 2020 as we met at the Marcus-David Peters circle in Richmond, Virginia. From the day we first met Andrew expressed condolences and frustration regaring the unjust murder of my brother Marcus.

Once Andrew found out that I was running for Governor he was by my side until the end as a huge supporter, member of our campaign team, body guard lol and friend. We love, miss, appreciate & will never forget you Andrew . Rest In Power Andrew 💕✊🏽💕

Just about every time I went to the MDP circle Andrew was there sitting in his chair looking over the circle. He quickly started passing out post cards and bracelets with my brothers information on it to any and everyone that he saw.

(1/3) The Marcus Alert is named after Marcus-David Peters, a high school biology teacher killed by Richmond police in 2018 amid a mental health crisis.

Yesterday was Marcus-David Peters birthday. He was a Black man killed by RPD during a clear mental health crisis. While the Marcus Alert exists in Richmond, it’s clear that it’s not working as Marcus’s family wanted it to if cops are still showing up and shooting ppl in crisis.

We need ALL hands on deck! An injustice towards one of us is an injustice towards ALL of us! We know that our POWER is in UNITY. Please spread widely and show up in solidarity. ✊🏽💕✊🏽. See you there ✊🏽💕✊🏽
