The Rays being 10 games over .500 with the kind of production they’ve got from the SS/CF spots while also missing 3 of their top relievers and their starting 2B is absolutely wild. That’s not even mentioning the fact they have one of the lowest payrolls in the sport. Shoutout to Erik Neander, Kevin Cash, Kyle Snyder and everyone else involved.

@JustinE51090 @ECloskyWTSP He has a NMC through next season. I personally think he's not 100% from injury but if that's not the case then definitely things he needs to work on. Would love to see him shoot more. Kind of like what Hagel does on a lot of his rushes.

Brayden Point says there is nothing injury-related that inhibited him.
Says it was a learning lesson for him that some of the things that made him successful in the past don’t necessarily work forever.
Will be an important summer for him to work hard on his scoring.

The Rays are doing this with about 15 players I’ve never even heard of before. Meanwhile, the Orioles haven’t figured out how to be a competent team after a 101 win season and a “successful” rebuild.
