Attempting to wage war against this entire app despite not even having 300 followers. Leftist. Whatever that even means at this point.

Let the record reflect that not one former living president denounced Trump’s genocidal pledge to destroy an entire civilization Like Obama, they’re inconsequential moral cowards who worry in the back of their minds about being held accountable for their own war crimes

Congratulations to @CoachDustyMay, Elliot Cadeau, and @UMichBBall on winning their first title since 1989! This team dominated the tournament from start to finish. Well deserved. Go Blue!

@SarcasmStardust That was 7 year old me with learning disabilities when my grandfather passed away. It was very difficult to understand. I thought being dead meant sleeping really really deeply basically.

Comrade Misty is Putin’s Buddy
So, obviously, there are various challenges that come with parenting a child with autism. But I think one of the absolute worst is trying to explain death. I am convinced I’m fucking it up. And I’m trying really hard to be honest without scaring her too badly and it’s all just very confusing for both of us, I fear.

We need to stop pretending the movies were perfect adaptations. They sucked in a lot of ways. Just to list a few things they fucked up off the top of my head: -Ruined Ron in favor of Hermione -Ginny was not Ginny -Made HBP a comedy when it should have been the second or third darkest film -Removed all the mystery aspects from GOF when it was written as a mystery book -Removed almost all of the Voldemort memories (one of the most important parts of the main villain) -Didn’t get the Quidditch World Cup -Missed 80% of Quidditch games at Hogwarts -Made those who haven’t read the books want Harry & Hermione together (Have Steve Kloves to thank for that) -Took away Grindelwald’s redemption in favor of making him tell Voldemort to kill Dumbledore instead -Completely changed Sirius’s character in OOTP And I could list 50 other things that they didn’t have time to cover, and I’ll probably think of another 20 things they messed up if I actually sit down and think about it. The movies were great, but let’s not pretend they’re perfect.

Why are they remaking Harry Potter when there's no problem with the current movies?

@RyanWarren44 @mtracey @FmrRepMTG Using the "Started no new wars" bullshit was copium MAGA came up with to defend the fact that he continued existing ones. That's bad enough. He's a neocon just like his predecessors. You want proof? He just started one and the actions I have already lined out proved he would.

@JustinHall0711 @mtracey @FmrRepMTG A warmonger that didn’t engage or start any new wars? He approved the sale or arms to Ukraine which is no different than we do to multiple countries. He almost started a war with NK but is also the first Pres to shake hands with Kim in the DM? Make that make sense. He “continued”

Nice sentiment, I guess, but unfortunately @FmrRepMTG, you *are* in fact getting precisely what you voted for in 2024 -- even if you were operating under some alternate interpretive framework at the time, perhaps informed by your own personal/electoral prerogatives. This prepared speech Trump gave in September 2024 -- threatening to blow the whole of Iran to "smithereens" -- is just as deranged as anything he's saying now. In fact, it was a very accurate preview of his plans for returning to power: x.com/mtracey/status… To quote myself at the time: "What the hell is this? Trump says if he were president, he would be threatening to blow up Iran's largest cities and destroy 'the country itself.' There is no more overused adjective to describe Trump's rhetoric than 'unhinged,' but this is genuinely unhinged." Promises made, promises kept. And mind you, that speech is just one small datapoint of countless I could provide, but space is limited. In short: any rational observer couldn't have possibly concluded that Trump 2024 was pledging to reduce, rather than increase, bellicosity against Iran. It would've flown in the face of virtually all available evidence: his first-term record, his personnel choices, his campaign rhetoric, his "pro-Israel" donors, his "pro-Israel" policy commitments, his literal endorsement of aggressive military force against Iran (x.com/mtracey/status…), the longstanding virulent anti-Iran dispensation of the contemporary Republican Party, of which he's the undisputed leader, etc. In fact, Trump bombing Iran in June 2025, after phony pretextual "negotiations," and then going to full-fledged war in February 2026, after another round of phony negotiations, might be the most openly-telegraphed series of foreign policy events in recent US history: mtracey.net/p/trump-and-th… So at this stage, @FmrRepMTG, an honest broker would take some overdue self-accountability, and reckon with their *own* role in propagating an entirely groundless, fictionalized interpretation of the political figure they had once so fervently dedicated themselves to empowering.
Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸@FmrRepMTG

On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted. Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness. I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit. I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this. The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon. You know who has nuclear weapons? Israel. They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it. Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing. On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies. Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians. Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace. Not escalating war that is hurting people. This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most. This is not making America great again, this is evil.

"THIS IS UFORGIVABLE" *Character was given mild redesign in an adaptation, something that happens fucking constantly and is very obviously not a big deal*
Sue_Zan404@Sue_Zan404

“Faithful adaptation” my ass. Fuck HBO No, it’s not racist to expect fidelity to the source material. This is unforgivable. I seriously wouldn’t have cared if they’d have made Dumbledore or McGonagall or even Harry himself black, but they picked the character whose skin color is repeatedly specified as pale. I hope this bankrupts @HBO & kills the career of @PaapaEssiedu I will not apologize. Fuck everyone involved in this decision.

@cinemassacre God I want them to try the dark universe again. But this time make it a series of actual horror movies that just happen to take place in the same universe and occasionally cross over rather than attempting to make it like the MCU and therefore make them action movies.

@RyanWarren44 @mtracey @FmrRepMTG Yes actually. Also I did give you another response listing all the shit he did in his first term that showed he's just former reality TV star George W Bush. That way you knew I at least know what i'm talking about and am not just regurgitating Tracey.

I still lean towards the idea that the left and right can work together on areas of agreement (Especially the libertarian left and libertarian right), but even I'll admit that that movement led to certain people on the left basically kissing MAGAs ass.

@RyanWarren44 @mtracey @FmrRepMTG Trump was a warmongerer in his first term. He armed Ukraine. He continued the wars in the middle east. He assasinated Solemenini. He basically almost started a nucleor war with North Korea over Twitter. And as Tracey has pointed out, he's warmongered towards Iran as well.
