@DmcxKnight I don’t like what the Texans did on the OL Stroud holds them back and jags lost a lot and didn’t replace there defense is mid at best and same with ol I don’t trust t law or the run game either and 8-9 isn’t good for the colts and the titans are not bad upgrades everywhere

My stance on the current hypothetical "Best QB in the NFL" title: Stafford had the best season, but he's older and it remains to be seen if he can duplicate it. Allen farted away a golden chance to take the title last year in the playoffs. Lamar lacks the playoff resume. Burrow misses a bunch of games and hasn't made playoffs in 3 years. Maye has no track record & hasn't done anything against good teams. Herbert is a perennial tease. So I still think Mahomes is at #1 largely because no other QB has stepped up enough to supplant him.

@Htx_wearetexans The last 2 are nice but you cant live in the past. The best defense itl doesn't mean anything if the qb doesn't elevate the team. For perspective, 2017 jags had the best defense and were a blown call away from a superbowl appearance. They then played scared because the qb

@e2j4s79 It literally is. The MVP voting between 1 yr and another cant be compared. The voting is based on the overall performance of that yr and the numbers are similar between Trevor and stroud those respective years. Stroud hasn't topped his rookie season and Slowik is gone 🤷🏻‍♂️

@JustinKopcho No it’s not. CJ was 5th in MVP voting. All year long that’s what you people have been babbling about. Trevor Bortles was 5th in mvp voting! CJ did that as a rookie.

No, CJs rookie yr is comparable to Trevors 2nd. Its actually ok to say those 2 seasons were pretty equal between the 2. Saying that Trevors 5th yr is only as good as CJs 1st is a bold faced lie.

The reason they needed a comeback was because of Trevor Bortles. He threw 4 INTs in the 1st half. Tell the whole truth. His best season was ‘25, in his 5th year and it was only as good as CJs rookie year. The only difference is CJ won a PLAYOFF game.

@e2j4s79 Your argument is the least serious I've think I've ever heard. Theres a reason that Urban and Doug Pederson aren't coaching at all. If they were remotely good they would've been hired by another team in some capacity. Googling HS and MS Qbs in jax is also obsessive.

The hate the truth in Slackerville! If he is so good, why is Trevor Bortles on his 3rd HC in 5yrs? The post said there were not 8 QBs in the planet better than him. I named 8 high schools and middle schools in Jacksonville that had better QBs. 🤷🏾‍♂️ And now I’m crazy!

@TaeSosaaa He’s not top 8 in Jacksonville! Atlantic, Riverside, Wolfson, Mandarin, Bishop, Sandalwood, and Parker have better QBs. I know a couple intermediate QBs that are better too! 😂🤣

I think Burrow is good but why do we put him on a pedestal when he has the best wr duo (best WR itl that has played with him since college) a great RB that catches out of the backfield, the same offensive playcaller since he entered the league .

@JungleRat55 I was comparing the franchises. Jags fans want the same respect that bengals fans are getting. OG post was about contenders and we're annoyed that the Bengals are listed over us after going 13-4. Cincy, barring yearly injury, should be good. Feels like beating a dead horse atp

Does adding Dex and mafe take them over the top? The issue has always been injuries and a defense that cant cover. I dont trust their DC. Burrow has been to the playoffs the same number as Lawrence. The 1 deep run was a product of great defense.
