CORRECTING THE INDEPENDENCE NARRATIVE: One mistake we should never perpetuate is building a narrative about our Independence without identifying both the AGENT of its denial and its attainment. Kungoti Independence payakauya musi wa18th April 1980!!! Ichibvepi? Yamboendeswako nani? Zvaita sei? Or the variant: Nyika yakafirwa; nyika yakarwirwa!! Naani? Achirwa naani? Daka racho riri rei?? I notice a settling trend where narratives on our Independence are now being stripped of agency. Once a major development is narrativized without agency, the guilty walk away Scot-free , nay, even become more assertive without feeling constrained by guilt and remorse. Those who sacrificed sink into anonymity, in which case a wedge is put between SACRIFICE and the attainment of INDEPENDENCE!! We should never get to that sorry stage. Worse, those seeking to traffic in contemporary reactionary causes will tend to pilfer that hallowed Struggle and the resultant Independence to lend weight, legitimacy and even aura to their base causes. Be careful Zimbabwe!!! History does not just happen; it is MADE by ordinary men and women in STRUGGLE!!!!!!

REFERENDUM OR NO REFERENDUM: There are no strictures to the Parliament-led consultation process. None whatsoever! As a citizen, you are free to express yourself of any aspect: content of proposed amendments to procedures on how you want those proposed amendments adopted or rejected. But you have to register those views to the consultative mechanism and then allow Parliament to gauge the weight of evidence. If the majority of people say the proposals SHOULD be put to referendum, so be it!! If the majority want those changes done through people’s representatives - i.e. Parliamentarians - equally so be it. But for anyone to swing their own views and preference here on social media as if these were EDICTS - And without going to tender these to the process underway, is plain folly!!! Go tell the process and wait for outcome, bearing in mind nothing LIONIZES your solitary view. You are not the people; just an individual!!!!!

One thing I’ve learned on this journey is that one skill can create multiple streams of income,if you allow it to. For a long time, many of us have been taught to think small: One skill = one income, one business = one product 🤦🏾‍♀️ Crochet is not just about making and selling finished items. From that one skill, I’ve also been able to generate income through: • Pattern sales • And teaching as a crochet tutor Teaching has been especially rewarding, not just financially, but in seeing others grow, gain confidence, and turn their own creativity into something meaningful. The pattern sales are my passive income. I started listing my patterns online on sites like Ravelry and Lovecrafts in 2021. While I’m working on new ideas, teaching, or simply living life, patterns I created months (or even years) ago continue to sell. Small amounts at a time, but they add up. Quietly. Consistently. This isn’t just for big businesses. It’s possible for small creators, for handmade businesses, for anyone willing to think beyond the obvious. Your skill has more potential than you think. The question is: How many ways are you allowing it to work for you?

When I posted about an entrepreneur who assembles Avantis computers, there was a lot of interest from X followers, and several legitimate questions were asked. I will refer some of those questions to the entrepreneur. That said, here are the computer specs.

GREAT DAY FOR ZIMBABWE: If only you guys knew the brain-burning behind the scenes, you would celebrate the announcement by the inter-ministerial committee headed by Industry and Commerce Minister Ndlovu. First was a huge policy debate around stopping wholesale exportation of mineral ores to set the stage for local value-addition. Linked to that is a key goal of upgrading the State’s capacity to read each ore body to get ALL the MINERALISED ELEMENTS in our ore for FULL ACCOUNTABILITY fiscally. Second was evolving a policy where MINING and INDUSTRIAL POLICY sequentially melded so that our ore stimulated the start of industrial activities linked to key minerals we recover from it, whether singly or in combination as needed industrially. For far too long, and because our permissiveness when it came to ore exportation, MINING proceeded divorced from NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL POLICY, assuming we had any pretensions to the latter. That gap is now closed and we can now build a formidable BENEFICIATION VALUE CHAIN in the mining sector. To facilitate all that, the STATE WHICH WILL BE AN ACTIVE PLAYER, not a BY-STANDER in the neo-liberal sense, MUST ensure through distribution of SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE - SEZ - policy instrument, the importation of machinery needed for the realization of the new industrialization strategy. Of course linked to that is getting the country to have its own LIST OF CRITICAL MINERALS consistent with its INDUSTRIALIZATION STRATEGY AND AMBITIONS!!!!! NDS2’s TRAJECTORY IS NOW SET!!!!

We have identified a growing need for locally driven solutions to assist those who pursue their studies in China and seek employment within Zimbabwe in fields related to their academic training. To address these ongoing challenges, we established the Overseas Students Alumni Association (OSAA) China Chapter, which was officially launched on April 4th in Shanghai at the Shanghai Sino-Africa Center. Our discussions focused on a key question: After studying in China, what comes next? How can we better align ourselves with opportunities at home? More importantly, how can we foster effective skills and knowledge transfer between China and Zimbabwe to contribute meaningfully to national development? We were honored to host H.E. Ambassador Abigail Shonhiwa as our Guest of Honor during this significant event. I am also deeply humbled to have been appointed as the OSAA Secretary for the Zimbabwean Students who studied or currently studying at Jiangsu universities, a role through which | look forward to advancing collaboration and empowerment among Alumni. @MuponaEric Well led by our China Chapter chairman 🇨🇳🇿🇼我们一起努力奋斗

Livestock production ( Biological Assets) has always been central to the village economy for generations. The previous generations model was useful for it's time. Our generation has a mandate to escalate and improve from where our predecessors left us. The Art of breeds is now the game changer in transforming our villages/ rural areas into competitive economic hubs. Instead of "mombe dzehumai" or ndine mombe dzangu , we now ought to speak the commercial language, ....." boran, Thuli, Jersey, Hostein..." it's either dairy or pen fattening not just keeping mombes. Instead of ndine mbudzi dzangu... we now need to hear ," Boer, kalahari etc" ..Instead of ndine kahuku kangu kemusvuuu.., we now want to hear, Broilers, layers, Black Austrolop etc . The commercial language revolves around livestock production for meat, milk, eggs or breeding. As the Dairy School roars into life in two weeks time, Pen fattening school will be taking place in Rural Gutu on the 10th of April. Mark your territory, Let's go Zimbabwe !

GOOD NEWS FOLKS! THE TAX ON BOREHOLES AND THAT LEVIED BY ZERA ON SOLAR PANELS MOUNTED BY CITIZENS ON OWN PROPERTIES ARE SET TO GO IN THE CONTEXT OF EASE-OF-DOING BUSINESS POLICY. THE CHIEF SECRETARY TO THE PRESIDENT AND CABINET IS WORKING ON THE MATTER FOLLOWING A DIRECTIVE FROM THE PRESIDENT.
Jamwanda@Jamwanda2

I HAVE A ASK: How does borehole tax improve water supply to residents? What is the link between taxing a hole I have bored alone because of gasping municipal tapes, and my having uninterrupted flow of water the morning after? More so when the levying institution has nothing to do with water body-building or water supply???
