@dst6n01 I struggled with math, which made me a much better math teacher. I learned to read at a young age and without a lot of explicit instruction, which is part of why I struggle to teach struggling readers when it comes to intuitively understanding what’s happening in their brains.

If you’re a teacher now, did you easily learn the subject you teach when you were a student? For example, were you a good reader and now you teach reading? Were you good at math and now you teach math?
