Hurston Waldrep had some elbow discomfort this week. A MRI showed loose bodies, but the ligament seemed fine. He will see Dr. Meister this week. The Braves don’t know how long he might be out.

No doubt one of my least favorite things to hear! You know what though? Hitters hit! Plain and simple. Fast, slow, up, down , and sideways. Hitters just hit.

Whose has seen & heard this? At the Travel Ball and High School Level, you see a lot of Hitters able to hit high velocity but they struggle big time with off speed and lower velocity arms? Then come back to the dugout and say I can’t hit this pitcher because he throws to slow!
