Per Friedman, new AHL/CHL development rule looks to be 19-year-olds who were drafted out of the CHL in the first round can play in the AHL starting next season.

Guelph will be extremely interesting to follow. Hopkins is a good piece. Gallacher is a 3rd/4th liner. Wycisk is gonna be really good but as soon as next year? Other than Hopkins, who’s a top 6 on a Memorial Cup winning team? I don’t see any. Can Guelph bring in 5 top 6 Fs?
