The wind might be a bit breezy at times today and tomorrow but not too bad. The stronger wind arrives on Sunday when the temps really start to drop.

We had a few sprinkles in our local northern counties last night and we could get a few more sprinkles tonight into Saturday morning, maybe lingering until Noon in spots. Up towards Green Bay could see some flurries too.

It's a very warm start to the spring season with highs in the upper 50s today and low 60s tomorrow then the temp drops throughout the day Sunday and stays in the 40s to start next week.

The weekend starts warm in the low 60s for highs on Saturday! Then the temp drops most of Sunday with highs only in the 40s along with some showers, mostly of the rain variety and mainly in the morning.

On this start to spring our total daylight is almost 10 minutes over 12 hours with the sunrise now before 7 AM and the sunset after 7 PM.

Happy Spring! The season begins with the equinox at 9:46 AM this morning! And it's going to feel like spring as well with highs in the 50s today!

It's a very warm start to this Friday with morning temps in the 40s already. Look for highs today reaching the upper 50s in many locations depending on how much sun we see.

@JustinTGee Good morning Justin! When do we stop highs in the 30s for the season? I know are average highs are in the 40s, is it possible in April or do we typically still get highs in 30s

That morning mix chance for today is all done and we stay dry the rest of the day. We will keep in a 10% chance for a flurry or sprinkle early Friday morning and on Saturday will watch a bigger storm system north of Green Bay but overall dry heading into the weekend.

Temps get close to average today with highs in the mid 40s then 10 degrees warmer tomorrow in the mid 50s before we make a run at 60 Saturday then start to drop to start next week.

We've already melted a few inches of snow from what we got Sunday/Monday. Expect a lot of melting by this weekend with lots of grass showing through. Still 20" of snow on the ground in Wausau and it will take longer to melt all of that snow up north.

The overnight light wintry mix and rain is just about wrapping up. Temps are still close to, if not below, freezing this morning so watch out for the slick spots. Then partly cloudy the rest of the day with highs reaching the 40s.

Look how cold the high temperatures were yesterday! A few spots stayed in the teens!!! Was this our last day with highs in the teens and 20s this season? A lot of signs say YES!

If you were thinking about getting in one more ski or snowboard session after the big snow over the weekend, you won't have much luck locally. All of the local ski hills have closed for the season but Granite Peak up north is still open!

A lot to take in with our featured pet of the day - Niko! Protecting a baby who is outside in the snow in a laundry basket. I have questions... But watch for slick spots this morning with some light snow then warming up into the 30s this afternoon.

Most of the mix tonight into Thursday morning has trended towards more rain than anything but could have some sleet or freezing rain as well. Most don't see too much rain with about a tenth of an inch. Could get a touch more with spots that see steady rain.
