🚨 🗣️ Matheus Cunha on his favourite No.10 in football:
“Wearing the number 10 shirt for Manchester United is such a pleasure. Ronaldinho was always my idol growing up, but when it comes to my favourite No.10 of all time, it’s **Wayne Rooney, easily.
I grew up watching him and will always remember the historic things he achieved for this club. I’ve played alongside amazing players like Marcus Rashford, but as a kid, Rooney was the one. It’s a real honour to wear his number now.”

🚨 Matheus Cunha on Bruno Fernandes:
“He’s just different. He always seems one step ahead, knowing exactly what to do before the ball even arrives. His free kicks and penalty technique are on another level—I’ve never seen a goalkeeper figure him out from the spot. It’s incredible. Honestly, he’s the best passer I’ve ever played with. I’ve shared the pitch with some top players, but he’s truly elite.” ❤️👏🏾

🚨🗣️ Owen Hargreaves urges the club to bring Marcus Rashford back:
“He has done brilliantly at Barcelona. But again I'd LOVE to see him on the left-hand side.
“That's probably the ONLY spots where I think there’s a bit of space for somebody, in that left wing position. I think Marcus would SUIT brilliantly.
“Sometimes the change of scenario is good for both, but I'd LOVE to see him. I just love watching Marcus play.
“An academy boy, and the climate is different now so he might thrive in that as well. I hope he stays. But I can understand if he doesn't as well”. #MUFC [TNT]

🚨🗣️ Harry Maguire:
"We’ve got to finish strong and I think he should go right into the mix of the other candidates [for the permanent job] and let the process begin. I’m sure it will do and I’m sure it’s going to be a thorough process.
It’s going to be a big summer. We need bodies in, bodies to help the squad. We know that. We need improvement in the squad. It’s going to be a big recruitment in the management department and I’m sure that the hierarchy will get it right."

🚨 NEW: Manchester United sent their scouts several times to watch Yan Diomande this season - he is super appreciated by the club.
At the moment, there is no indication of the exact fee that Leipzig will ask for, it will be a big fee considering how well Diomande is doing this season.
The race for Diomande remains open with Liverpool, PSG & Bayern all tracking the player.

🚨🎙️ Rúben Amorim on Manchester United;
“If Manchester United want to win something next season, the first step is consistency… not changing direction every few months.
You need clear identity, trust in the process, and players fully committed to the system. Talent alone doesn’t win trophies, discipline does.
When everyone pulls in the same direction, this club has everything needed to win again.”

English

🚨 🗣️ Matheus Cunha on his favorite goal for Manchester United:
“Even if I don’t think it was my most beautiful goal, I have to choose my winning goal against Arsenal as my favorite so far.
Considering the context one of the biggest games in the league scoring the winner was an incredible feeling for me and my teammates.
The whole club felt it. The atmosphere across the city and country was unbelievable. Because of that context, it’s definitely the most important goal of my career.”

English

🚨 🗣️ Harry Maguire on his preferred system at Manchester United:
“I prefer playing in a back four. When you’re in the middle of a back three, people think you can’t move and that you’re protected which you are but I’ve always said I’d rather play in a four.
I feel I can be more aggressive. I’m a defender who loves duels. In a back three, especially centrally, you’re more cautious, playing almost a libero role, and you don’t step forward with the ball as much which is a big part of my game.”

English

🚨 Harry Maguire on Kobbie Mainoo:
"Football is about opinions and, if Kobbie is going to have a long career, there’s going to be managers who fancy you and managers who don’t.
"Or you just don’t suit a system when you’re playing two in there [in midfield] and he wants Bruno back and more of a defensive one to play with Bruno.
"It just didn’t fit the eye of Ruben but Kobbie’s been fantastic since he’s come back in." [@guardian]

🚨 Understand there are no written release clauses into Cuti Romero’s contract.
There was a gentlemen pact with Spurs to let him go to Spanish clubs in case of good proposals, but never fixed at €60m and not in paper.
…and it was with Daniel Levy, who’s no longer at the club.
Romero remains likely to leave Spurs in summer, as reported in February.

🚨🎙️ | Harry Maguire outlines his own conditions to signing a new contract at #MUFC:
“I think we’ll reach an agreement on what is best for the club and myself.
“I LOVE this club. But it’s got to be right for myself and it’s got to be right for the club as well. I do NOT want to be staying just because of sentimental reasons.
“I want to be staying because I want to be there and the club want me to DRIVE THEM FORWARD, and they feel like I’ve got a big part to play in it.
“And if that’s the case, then I’m sure we’ll sit down and agree on something.”

🚨🎙️ | Harry Maguire reflects on Ruben Amorim’s time at #MUFC:
“The formation MUST have [made a difference] because the results before were NOT good enough.
“I don't really have much bad to say about Ruben. I really like Ruben, I think he's got GREAT ideas.
“The ideas just didn't work at Manchester United. I do believe he'll go on and have an AMAZING career.
“It just didn't click and I think us as players have got to take a lot of responsibility for that as well.”
