@Justinminded Yeah ㅠㅠ hopefully some schedules where he can showcase his capabilities fully (like bada's show) usually hybe is better at those kinds of promo.

I remember rana saying she trained at sm for 3 months but got cut because her freestyle vibe didn't really fit the traditional idol style they preferred at the time… which kinda makes you see things differently

Japan dance battle circle so small cus wdym rana (vvs) competed with both justin & minami ( morevision's gg). All 3 are active in korea now.

@dearestjustiin True. But it's good we have so much predebut proof of what he can actually do, I mean his insane background 😃 I really want to believe he will have more opportunities to show what he is truly capable of... Still last 2 smtown didnt help >.> it seriously ruined it for me

@Justinminded Thou theres a downside to it too, since he adapts easily ppl think oh he's the same & ppl have this thinking that the one overdancing/ doing more are usually better since they stands out :/

@dearestjustiin Yeah exactly. And you know, It's funny I've seen "those" people call him a robot for it... imagine 😃 He's literally just being professional. Meanwhile It's hard to stay that detailed without ruining the group symmetry

@Justinminded LIKEEE he doesn't tend to overdance like NOT at all, he adapts to the group while also being extremely detailed if we compare. This is what I like about him cus I usually despise overdancing (in group choreo) even if its a main dancer.

How justin joined sm so quickly being one of the biggest mystery of all time. Too many exception were made against their traditional trainee recruitment rules ijbol. One being a freestyler, second being a rival company public trainee.

@shiro_ngnl_jibr True, I think Rana's freestyle vibe was just so strong back then it's part of what makes her iconic but it's hard to unlearn for the traditional idol style. If you watch her battles you can kinda tell. We cant know for sure but if you saw how she talked you'd get the context more

@Justinminded Both of them being 06 liner ㅠㅠㅠㅠ ngl I thought she was a 05 liner when I first saw their dance battle (dance alive) justin seemed so small around her

@dearestjustiin Ohh I totally get the worry. But I was also thinking about how adaptable J is. He's always been great at adjusting while still standing out.Some dancers stand out by doing more, he stands out by doing the right amount and making it feel natural. That's why he feels so exceptional

@Justinminded So it means she left SM during 2022-23 while justin joined SM during that time because if thats what the case for her im really worried about justin :( (maybe the criteria changed since the joining and leaving time for them is diff)
