😂 😂 😂 Accountability does not stop when a person is on leave otherwise refer us to the next person in charge. Awarding a tender like this one to a single bidder when the the bid invitations were requested at short notice is not the safety net they think it is #carteblanche

Changing mayors and municipal managers is not a problem if all tbose people are competent. What we have here is incompetence at all levels of governance. Sadly these are the only choices local voters have. #carteblanche

A mayor under investigation for fraud and corruption should voluntarily walk away from the municipality. That alone tells you all need to know about the city management. What was the emergency when the SPCA told them ahead of time that the contact was ending? #carteblanche

The SAFTAs izolo were not perfect by any measure. There is a lot we need to improve on. BUT... If last night was anything ... it is actually us taking a step in the right direction. Claps for the efforts, they were not missed. The red-carpet was a bit more structured, though we still need to co-ordinate the movements and who can be on the carpet at what time. Some nominees had to jostle for a spot with plus ones. Not cool. However the carpet was beautiful, clean and spacious. The other glaring thing for me was the lack of stars at the event and winners not being in attendance. I understand that creatives and celebrities have lost faith in our awards shows so they don't see the value in attending the event. Last night, we may have moved a few steps to restoring that interest and enthusiasm around the awards. We have to incentify the nominees to show up... Yes even if there is a monetary remuneration added. Wishful thinking but you get where I am going. Production mistakes ... I am not that mad at, LIVE television is unpredictable, though some mistakes could be avoided by simply having people pay attention. There are rehearsals and run-through to spot and fix such. All in all this year's experience of the SAFTAs was mostly very positive. Sidenote: Closing the bar 1 hour before the show was not cute. Don't do that again. 😉 Oh and please respect the media. A lot of them were not happy with being seated right at the back where they could even see what was happening onstage properly. Front rows obvs are for stars and nominees, but a decent middle spot would've been appreciated. I didn't mind the back because I was up and down. 😂 PS: Get politicians off awards stages. Let them give their speeches on the Craft Awards night not on the Main Event. Boring. 😞

#carteblanche demanding to be heard after the fact when you turned down countless opportunities to state your view is ridiculous. You only speaking now because clearly the insert has placed your organization under the spotlight and public pressure.

#carteblanche Asking a whistleblower for more info while you are the regulator and have full rights to do on the spot inspection does not inspire confidence. Hiding behind the size of the facility makes one wonder if they even did a proper inspection of said large facility.
