With #CloseTheSchools trending, we believe that it is right to prioritise keeping pupils in school. But the govt must be wholly transparent about the risks to children, families & school staff & give clear guidance on what additional safety measures #schools may have to take.

Today I said goodbye the children not knowing when they’ll return. The staff have been incredible and thank them all so much for their continued efforts to support the children who are clearly unsettled. They too have shown great resilience in difficult times. #teachersareheroes
