You suck at writing because you don't understand human nature. People don't want clever, they want clear. People don't want a lecture, they want emotion. People don't care about you, they care about themselves. Write with this in mind and watch your readers pay attention.

Magic mushrooms haven't always been available. Even after being publicized in the 1950s, no one was able to cultivate them until the McKenna bros published a guide in 1976. Now you can grow them from spores purchased online & Uncle Bens rice. It's the golden age for psilocybin.

How do you quantify the effects of a psychedelic drug? Alexander Shulgin, perhaps the greatest psychedelic chemist of all time came up with a foolproof system... Here's how it works:

VR + Psychedelic Therapy = ??? It sounds like a Black Mirror Episode, but while this therapeutic model is only in the early stages, the results are astounding Contributor @Jgordoncurtis took a trip into the virtual frontier of psychedelic therapy with PhD @tipado 🎮🍄

Psychedelics are emerging as potent therapeutic tools for mental health disorders — but nobody is exactly sure how or why they work the way they do This study offers some interesting clues... During our formative years as children, our brains are more receptive to important stimuli (such as social rewards like praise & affection) and more adaptable in terms of connectivity & behavior The specific time window where these periods occur are known as critical periods. Scientists have long been interested in finding ways to reopen these periods, as they could be beneficial for therapy This study suggests a shared pathway of critical period reopening for all psychedelics (not via 5HT2A). The longer-lasting the psychedelic, the longer the reopening window
