Don't get it twisted, this handheld still better than having $80 ass looking Nintendo games. I much rather pay for the Hardware at that price than paying for $80 games. Just saying.

That was the nail in the coffin for me with Deen. I always had thought better of him despite the numerous times he twisted things to be something they aren’t. But the moment he justified the valve increase - one of his arguments being you don’t “need a steam deck to use steam” - ignoring that no, instead you need a more expensive computer than what the steam deck is. lol.

Just muted Nintendeen and Tripster. The fun ride correcting them is coming to an end. RGB is probably next lol.

@TRIPSTER0 The perpetual cycle of NDS game get announced ppl say Switch 2 cant handle it game then comes out for Switch 2 and then those same ppl move the goal post and say the Switch 2 version is slop because the frame rate is 30 fps and the resolution is outputed at 1080p

@ProfSilktree @NemoNuggets @soulsilverart Obviously not but we do generally get a remake every one or two generations typically every console generation all I'm saying is the wait for a new generation of Pokémon isnt as unbearable as some people might think if they do a 5 year cycle

I truly loved Scarlet and Violet as a core Pokémon game experience,but now I think I also hate Scarlet and Violet for what it did to how people view Pokémon Idk if Pokémon fans just aren’t on this platform,or if the younger generation is just like this now,but there’s this viral idea that getting more dev time is the answer to why THEY don’t like Pokémon anymore. Every post that promotes this idea gets tons of likes/popularity rn,and everytime I see it I have to hold myself back from raging😂 I just hope that Game Freak knows that not all of us are ok with this, and that they don’t see what’s trendy as an endorsement that all fans want this to be their standard dev time for the future. I get that SV was buggy and even a mess for some people(wasn’t for me). But that was just SV, ONE GAME. Sure a little more time would’ve helped, but I’m of the mind that we should just ask them to see where they messed up and do better. Focus on the games being fun over everything else. My issues with SV were actually ONLY about the decision to make it open world and not doing that well- like not having level scaling, optional trainer battles, and the world being void of things to do & having no style. I actually think keeping SV more traditional would have helped. I’m all for new fun ways to play, but some of the ideas in SV were dumb, like the academy focus. Idk maybe I’m alone on this. New Gens were coming every 3 years, and yes even 4 is fine if it’s a better experience… but 5+ years with essentially only spin-offs to hold us over, ain’t it. Heck sports tournaments are every 4 years, kids grow up with Pokémon because Pokémon is never not there, and getting brand new monsters after 5+ years is a painful wait. I know it’s a spoiled mentality, but it’s what Pokémon fans have known since 1996. Happy 30th anniversary I guess.

While 3 year generations have been increasingly unsustainable for the franchise, I think 5 year generations is also a bad idea.

@sighyam Being able to catch pokémon in real time like in the legends games but still having pokémon battles turn based shouldn't be contraversial we get the best of both worlds in this scenario so I dont see why people are upset

You can tell who actually played Pokémon for the gameplay vs just the Pokémon themselves by the replies. Turn-based Pokémon carried this franchise for decades. The day it disappears is the day Pokémon stops being Pokémon sorry

First of all is a bug Second of all I guess if you want good visuals on a handheld you should stick the the Steam Deck Version and skip the garbage ass Switch 2 version.

The Switch 2 Display is already very dissapointing, it's so dimmed compared to my Steam Deck OLED, it's so washed out, and I do feel like there's an absurd amount of Input Lag due to LCD Blur, now it's not as bad the infamous PSP-1000 LCD but this might be the next worst Display I ever played after that PSP. Sorry just wanted to be objective but it's just too much to ignore. #NintendoSwitch2

@Nick_Marseil ps2 to ps3 was a leap you could see from across the room. ps4 to ps5 you need a digital foundry video to tell the difference we didn't peak. we hit the part where doubling the budget buys you slightly better rain physics

Sadly (and while things can change between now and release) Pokémon Winds and Waves runs at 30 FPS on the reveal trailer, not 60 FPS like SV and ZA.

@wiihackU @Raythesnivy Despite how people feel about the graphics of ZA, when it comes to the more natural environment like the trees grass rocks (not the buildings) to me they look almost as good as the xenoblade games
