This McDonald’s employee really looked at that slice of cheese hanging halfway out of the sandwich, closed the box, and thought, “Yep, that’s good to go.” It’s not even about the cheese. It’s about the complete lack of pride in doing the job right. When you’re paying more than ever for fast food, the least customers should expect is a sandwich that looks like someone spent five seconds making it.

This is the kind of situation I actually dread. Not for myself, but for my own kids. Dad definitely did the right thing by getting them out of the way, but sometimes, that's not going to be enough. Thankfully, this time it was. The fact remains, we don't and shouldn't have to live like this. Ever. I'm tired of it.

Obsidian’s Game Director just clapped back at people saying the studio “isn’t what it used to be.” He basically said no studio stays exactly the same forever and the core DNA is still there. Meanwhile they made Avowed — a boring, ugly, woke mess — and he’s out here acting like the changes are no big deal. The DNA clearly changed, and not in a good way. That’s exactly why people are calling them out. Stop pretending the studio is still the same when the games got noticeably worse.

@BlazingBanter @Gazz_54 I started with Daggerfall and played each one after, so that's not true at all. If their characters are still ugly in this day and age, those are shit tier artists. That's a deliberate choice or pure incompetence. Hell, Stardew has attractive characters and it's Pixel Art.

Remember when gaming journalists kept praising the Dragon Age Veilguard character creator?
