@PownerOnTwitch Nothing better than when they actually balance weapons/armor without damaging their performance in pve. As a PvP and pve player, it’s awesome to see the thoughtfulness of the sandbox team these days :)

@ILLF4TED These weapons were created with the intent to purposely limit its use, right? They are powerful due to the limited ammo. So then you pair that with a brick of special every round and it becomes sticky. I personally have enjoyed the checkmate system a lot, so I may be biased.

@ILLF4TED I like the educated feedback, you’re the man 🤝🏼 I think another talking point could be that d2 in its core has evolved past this system. The impact that a hybrid weapon has in this sandbox is massive (forerunner, erianas, and even izi if you can get the ammo count). Continued-

My two cents: I like special crates. Very d1 feel. Feedback: - Special crate next to initial spawn needs to go. Creates weird extra step per round. - start w/ special OR have the special transmit system in tandem with crates. - Put crates in a way to promote map flow.-

@ILLF4TED @PownerOnTwitch Como and trials don’t play the same tho. In trials, having that one pick with a snipe/shotty/fusion is huge, whereas in comp rounds are longer and a single kill isn’t as meaningful.

@ILLF4TED @PownerOnTwitch Haven’t played yet but I think it worked better in d1 because primaries were more powerful. In d2, not having special when the other team does much more detrimental. This is a guess tho, will give better input after I play. 👍🏼

@PownerOnTwitch Coming from d1, I like it. But it's definitely a preference. Gives incentive to positioning and controlling the map via the crates instead of "locking down" the map. Very d1 feel for me but I'm old lol
