less than average sleep is the hallmark of all great men of history. Napoleon would sleep FOUR hours per night at MOST. he would be discussing plans with his generals, then sleep on the very chair he was working from, and four hours later wake up and get back to work. Alexander the Great would sometimes just not sleep at all. he would take shifts guarding his men at night as they slept comfortably in their tents. Nikola Tesla slept for 2 hours per day in short 20 minute bursts. they ALL had this maniacal energy. constantly looking for the next problem, sacrificing their greatest, most valuable asset - time, at the alter of ambition. the benefits of leaving a lasting impact on earth, of saving the lives of millions, of having people build great works in your honour, of parents naming their children after you, of those children then going on to do great things of their own, FAR outweighs an extra couple hours in bed.
