Just a reminder that if you’re going through some stuff at the moment, it’s ok to feel momentarily defeated. It’s normal to have days where things truly don’t go your way. But you have to learn from these moments. Learning from what seems to be a failure now, is the most human thing. We all fail, we all learn. ❤️

@OfficialBTSM And here I thought it was a conspiracy people were doing it to make the scene more approachable.

Please don’t take this out of context. This is just an opinion that highlights OUR personal growth and journey as artists.
I feel like the bass scene at the moment is filled with remixes of pop songs from early 2010s and viral TikTok memes, and tbh no shade at all to anyone jumping on this trend/style cause it truly works and lots of producers are killing it. I truly mean it. At the same time, it feels distant to the stuff that WE fell in love with when we started producing.
These past few months, as our new show approaches we reflected on the music that got us into electronic music in the first place and our evolution over 15 years. I don’t know why I’m writing this now, but in simple words I wanted to tell you guys that we are going back to our roots this year: electro and techno. It just feels right.
It doesn’t mean we won’t play and produce dubstep or other genres; we’ve always experimented with different bpm. It just means the direction for the new music and the new show is clear to us now. It’s exciting and honest. We will also integrate theatre, acting, cosplay and a new stage in the show.
See you at Ultra for the premiere of
CONNECTED FIGHTERS 🗡️

i think proper dubstep dj etiquette for plugging in your usb during the artists set before you should be to:
1.) plug in your usb on an open deck a few minutes before their set ends
2.) cue up your first song
3.) then get off stage so they can enjoy their last song (assuming you’re not mixing in)
it’s always weird when you have someone hovering over your shoulder during your last song especially if you’ve got a media person trying to grab video and they’re just standing there like 🧍♂️
