@shahanSean You say that he Rejects the idea that the people of the book altered their scripture. But in reality he says it is not the scholarly position of Muslim scholars to outright reject everything in the bible. As seen in previous Hadith this supports his claim.

@shahanSean In the contested line he says that customs prevents the entirety of the people of the book to accept major alterations of their holy books as been told by Al-Bukhari. The question is what hadith in Al-Bukhari refers to any of this? See attached to understand his point.

@shahanSean In the first sentence in the Arabic text, he talks about something specific and not the whole torah. We need to see the context of what came before that sentence to understand what is he talking about.
