We urge political leaders to choose peace, to act with restraint and responsibility, and to pursue de-escalation through dialogue and diplomatic engagement. We also call on religious leaders and faith communities throughout the region to raise a clear and united voice for peace, reject hatred and any possible misuse of religion to justify violence, and help sustain compassion, solidarity, and hope.
