Day 13 of 30 Days If you lock for 3 or more years, you get access to partial unstaking after month 12. Each month you can withdraw a proportional amount. The formula is: remaining stake divided by remaining months. It’s ceiling division so you can always withdraw at least something if any balance exists. You can only do one partial unstake every 30 days. All pending rewards must be claimed first. The remaining balance keeps earning allocations proportionally. It’s flexibility within commitment. Day 14 of 30 Days Your staked principal is always yours after the lock period ends. Pool running low doesn’t affect your ability to unstake. Allocations might pause at certain pool levels but your original stake stays accessible once the lock expires. That’s a design guarantee, not a promise.

Day 16 of 30 Days Governance in Zarix runs on three tracks simultaneously. Standard proposals need 60% approval from at least 25 unique voters. These cover things like adjusting minimum stake amounts, claim periods, or LP gauge additions. Critical proposals need 80% approval from at least 100 unique voters. This covers timelocks, quorum settings, pausing the protocol, treasury releases, and partnership approvals. Upgrade proposals need 85% approval from at least 150 unique voters. This is for actual program code upgrades. Seven day timelock after passing. Three tracks running in parallel means governance on one topic doesn’t block everything else.

Day 17 of 30 Days High voting power alone can’t pass a proposal. You need a minimum number of unique voters. 25 for standard proposals. 100 for critical ones. 150 for upgrades. One big wallet can’t move Zarix on its own. The protocol is designed that way.

Even after a proposal passes its approval threshold and the timelock starts, the community can still veto it. During the timelock window, if enough NO votes accumulate to make it mathematically impossible to maintain the required approval ratio, the proposal is automatically defeated and the slot clears. For standard proposals that means NO votes exceeding 40% of total voted. For critical proposals it’s 20%. For upgrades it’s 15%. No admin can override this. It’s pure on-chain math.

In ZARIX Proposals don’t live forever. After 14 days, any community member with enough voting power can clean up an expired proposal, even if quorum was never reached. This prevents governance from getting permanently stuck. No one person can hold the system hostage with an abandoned proposal.

To submit a governance proposal you need at least 500,000 voting power by default. This isn’t about gatekeeping. It’s about reducing spam. The threshold is itself adjustable by governance, within the range of 100,000 to 1,000,000 VP. The community controls who can propose to the community.
