Sam Newman says AFL fans should boo Welcome to Country. Imagine if that were to happen. How would the rest of the world see Australia? Does he care? Does that even cross his ignorant brain? It would make news internationally. And it would be embarrassing for our country and the AFL. I hope the AFL comes out and condemns his comments. And I hope no idiots take his advice. We’d look like such a bogan nation that’s ignorant to our history if this were to happen.

@JaneCaro I agree with you - I’m not religious but the frustrations expressed by Pastor Sean are relatable. However in many ways, religion is part of this problem. The “theatrics” of religion is part of this problem. The belief in a Creator, an Overseer, a God, is part of the problem.

I am not religious, but this is great. More decent Americans need to speak up like this. Not just for their own sake, but the sake of the world.
