We must reject the false narrative that NATO is responsible for Russia’s war against Ukraine. We need to acknowledge the strategic realities we face today — and the nature of president Putin’s regime,” said Ambassador @RugeBoris during the international conference “Strategic Communications in South-East Europe: The Way Ahead”. On December 11th our Media Programme together with @sofia_forum hosted the event in Sofia, Bulgaria. It brought together approximately 100 high-level participants from 10 countries to discuss how Strategic Communications can strengthen democratic resilience.

Public service media is one of the pillars of democracy. Even with severe funding shortages, broadcasters continue to play a big role in building informed and resilient societies. Editors-in-chief, representatives of regulators, and general directors consensually agreed to that during our conference in Pristina, Kosovo on December 3rd and 4th.
