I’ve fallen in love with golf, and the season is getting ready to get reved up again. One thing I have struggled with is my weak ankles. Years of NfL games have destroyed my ankles, I don’t know that I’m cut out for just golf shoes. I think I need golf BOOTS! youtu.be/KBvRLcHpoXI?si…

What’s insane is how everything goes back to the Bible. The entire reason we’re at war with an Islamic terror state is because Abraham disobeyed God & had a baby with his female servant at the urging of his wife. Good assignment today is to read about Abraham, Isaac & Ishmael in Genesis.

Heavenly Father, We lift up every American service member now deployed in this hour of conflict—those on ships, in the air, on bases, and in forward positions. Shield them with Your mighty hand. Give them clarity in every decision, courage under fire, and peace that passes all understanding. Surround them with Your angels, guard their bodies and minds, and bring them safely home when their mission is complete. Comfort their spouses, children, parents, and loved ones who wait at home with heavy hearts. Replace fear with faith, anxiety with hope, and sleepless nights with the assurance that You neither slumber nor sleep. Hold their families close, provide for every need, and let them feel the support of a grateful nation. Lord, we ask for wisdom for our leaders, protection for the innocent, and a swift path to de-escalation and lasting peace in the region. May justice prevail and evil be restrained. We pray all this in the strong name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

The most terrifying detail about Noah's Ark isn't the size of the flood. It is the design of the boat. If you look closely at the blueprints God gave Noah in Genesis 6, He was extremely specific. He gave the exact length, width, and height. He specified the type of wood and the pitch to seal it. In my little years, I have never thought of this, but God intentionally left out one crucial component. There was no steering wheel, no sail, and worse still, there was no engine. Think about how scary that is. Noah was building a massive vessel to survive a global storm, but he had zero control over it, or over where it went. He couldn't steer it away from rocks. He couldn't turn it into the waves. He couldn't aim for dry land. He was completely at the mercy of the water. The Ark was not designed for navigation; just for floating. Noah’s job was to be the Passenger, not the Captain. God was the Captain. This is a picture of your life right now. You are trying to put a steering wheel in a boat that God can control, if you let Him…

A manger wasn’t a wicker basket. It was actually a stone trough meant to protect whatever was in it. What was its’ purpose? Mangers were often utilized to protect a perfect newborn lamb (one marked for sacrifice of sin) from being attacked by wolves or other predators. Do you see what I’m getting at? From the very get go, Jesus was the lamb anointed for sacrifice. FOR US. He is the lamb that washed our sins away. Do you know why the 3 Wisemen were so important? Because back in those times, Wisemen had the authority to declare somebody a King. Which they did. All three of them unanimously decreed that Jesus was King. So the King was placed in a lamb’s manger for the eventual sacrifice which would free us from sin. The Manger and the Wisemen tell us EXACTLY who and what Jesus Christ was. He is the King of Kings. In His name goes all the glory. In His name goes my love and my life. My soul is His. My life is His. *I* am His. Whatever path He requests of me I will walk. Why? Because He gave Himself for me. For you. For all of us. He gave Himself so that sin no longer defines us. He freed us from Satan’s grip. And for that, I will never be able to show enough gratitude. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” - John 3:16
