From the few images/videos i’ve seen from today’s match among fans - it seems the DR supporters were rather kind to our supporters, and I respect the hustle by the big name players from DR competing against our team of ‘no names’ I’ll be rooting for DR to win this WBC

Taiwan IS able to produce TOP pitching talents - however, what is the common theme? Most of them, unfortunately, skip the CPBL, and go to other countries organizations The KBO is at the risk of young pitchers skipping the kbo and going to MLB organizations if they can’t get reps in the KBO

To be fair…the DR have been going crazy hitting HR after HR in the group stage round We limited DR to only 1 HR In 4/7 innings, the DR scored 0 runs However, 3 innings had 3+ runs Our pitching wasn’t as bad as it looks, a couple big innings and a couple quiet innings Two of the big innings included pitchers whom will never pitch for the national team again, as they’re at the end of their careers Jo Byeong-hyun was most impressive, he’ll be a key piece for the next WBC As for the batters, we faced two incredible pitchers, if any top pitcher has his A game he can shut down any lineup no matter how good they’re A couple early close calls took our momentum away, which was needed if we were going to win I feel high spirts for the next national team competition

I’ve no idea if that is accurate or inaccurate, there’s many websites/articles that all say different things, so it’s hard to know exactly, however I think the number is below 20M Even if it is 20M, or even if it’s a bit higher, That is under 1M per player That is not ‘overpaying’ the players or lacking basic skills We lost to an MLB all star team, where players salary’s are 2x+ the salary of the total Korean team combined
