Our stretch of above-average afternoons is set to come to a (brief) end! This front will pack a punch when it rolls through, pushing wind gusts to 30+ mph. Highs will stay in the 60s and 70s with lingering cloud cover. Weather pattern turns more active for the first week of April

Our weather deja vu continues! Highs will reach for the upper 80s again this afternoon, then relief arrives after 6 p.m. when our next cold front moves through. A few brief showers are possible, but nothing significant. This sets us up for a STELLAR day of weather on Saturday!

Near 90° with some changes on the way. Our cold front arrives Friday night. Depending on how long clouds hang around, some of us could stay in the 60s on Saturday! Temps rebound quickly next week. Rain chances look more promising towards Easter Weekend and further into April.

Mild mornings, hot afternoons — that's the pattern through Friday! 🌡️ After a few more near-90° afternoons, our next cold front will arrive Friday night, setting us up for a seasonable, even below-average Saturday. Get out and enjoy it! Rain chances stay slim for now.

Another muggy, but slightly less foggy, morning. We'll start with some cloud cover, but quickly clear the skies into the afternoon. That will lead us to another WARM afternoon in the upper 80s, flirting with 90° the rest of the week. We'll break the pattern with a front Saturday!

Consistency is key with this forecast. Humidity will be high enough the rest of the week to leave a coat of dew on cars and lawns, and even some patchy areas of fog. Highs will stay above average until a weak cold front arrives Saturday. Still searching for our next rain chance.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat. More of the same as we start your Tuesday, with mild temperatures and watching for patchy fog to develop as the morning goes on. Fog and clouds may hang around a bit longer than yesterday, but we'll find sunshine eventually as highs climb into the mid-80s.

Another week of spring heat! After a touch of fog in the morning, we'll find clearing skies and sunshine with highs climbing into the mid-80s. Then we wash, rinse, and repeat this pretty much all week. A slight change arrives in the form of a weak front this weekend.

Waking up to a bit of patchy fog this morning. Give yourself an extra few minutes to get to where you need to go. We'll clear the fog quickly, with mainly sunny skies taking over and pushing highs to the mid-80s. More heat the rest of the week!

Spring officially begins later this morning, but it seems like we are skipping straight to summer with our weekend forecast. We'll challenge a couple of records today and tomorrow. Breezy winds and ongoing drought will elevate fire danger. Not seeing much relief on the horizon.

What a difference a few days can make! After Tuesday morning's lows in the 30s, we are closing out the workweek with a morning just shy of 60°. We'll be keeping an eye out for records today and tomorrow, as we skip over spring and go straight to summer! Stay hydrated and cool!

DROUGHT UPDATE Last Wednesday's rainfall didn't make as much of a dent as we would have liked, but we did see a downgrade to moderate drought across Houston and Trinity Counties. Unfortunately, severe and extreme drought persists across the majority of the area.

Sunshine sticks around through the weekend, but with that strong Texas sun comes record temps! Have caution as you head outdoors by staying hydrated, and keep the sunblock nearby as we brace for summer-like heat.

Bye-bye winter! 👋 We are sitting on the edge of a massive ridge of high pressure that is cranking up the heat across the southwest US. After a seasonable start, highs climb to the mid-80s today. Expect low 90s this weekend with record-challenging temperatures.

From one degree shy of record low temperatures yesterday, to record-breaking heat by the weekend!🌡️ The cooler air is slipping away quickly, as we move through the rest of the week, with light jackets giving way to t-shirt weather. One thing missing? Rainfall.

Another chilly morning, but a good bit warmer than how we started St. Patrick's Day. Certainly still jacket-worthy! Abundant sunshine and light winds will quickly push us toward the upper 70s by afternoon. Dress in layers — you'll be shedding them by midday.

Talk about a temperature ROLLER COASTER 🎢 From freezing temperatures to start St. Patrick's Day, to afternoon highs pushing into the 90s by this weekend. That's a 60° difference in just 5 days - so buckle up! Enjoy the chill, because we will be shedding those extra layers soon.

A frosty start to St. Patrick's Day! Waking up to near record cold in the 20s and 30s! Bundle up for the morning commute and school drop-off. Then watch temps SOAR — we'll hit near (or above) 90° by Saturday.

A gusty day ahead - Wind Advisories remain in place, and a Red Flag Warning picks up this afternoon. Gusty winds + dry air = extreme fire danger. Keep burn bans in mind. Winds calm overnight, allowing temps to plummet to the 30s. Warming trend takes over the rest of the week.

Grab a jacket as we get back into routine after spring break! Winds are still gusty behind yesterday's front, making our cool temperatures feel even colder. Winds will stay gusty throughout the day, with a Wind Advisory in effect. We have one more cold morning before a warm-up.
