If we do what they do, we may get lectured on how we should learn to be the bigger person, maybe even bombarded with excuses, instead of them simply considering their actions towards their loved ones. Then alas, we end up having to disregard our feelings and simply deal with it.

What depresses me the most is how many people casually get away with doing things that they would freak out over if on the receiving end. Some have no choice but to live with such people; where one is careful and attentive and the other just doesn’t acknowledge any consequence.

And you refuse to forget, which keeps this heart beating.
