The 2023-2024 school year has been a beautiful whirlwind! Kudos to the CTE team, industry partners and all the amazing students & staff with whom I get to work. Looking forward to some time away before our MS camps kickoff in July! 😅🎉💕☀️

Summer Careers Academy students are learning CPR and first aid today. Students are working hard to earn several industry recognized credentials before they start working at their job sites. @chccs @CTEforNC

We had our “signing day” as part of the Summer Careers Academy’s orientation with students and their employers. This is an 8-wk program where students earn HS & college credit, industry credentials PLUS a paid internship!! 💕⁦@CTEforNC⁩ ⁦@chccs⁩

The district CTE staff surprised me with a retirement party at the #chapelhillcarriagehouse WOW! A celebration w/current & retired staff, DPI, colleagues from DPS and Orange Co. My heartfelt thx to all for memories I will cherish forever❣️⁦@chccs⁩
