Today I solved a problem that had been aggravating me for months. Actually threw one board into the trash. Fuck. Yes. Now we make rock.

I find embargoed press releases to be really amusing for some reason.

The prototypes are more fun in some ways but also more time-consuming to build. But I need some unique design features because there are already enough clones of clones out there. Otherwise you're just jamming more of the same into an already overcrowded market.

Sinus trouble off and on for two weeks now. Trying to get motivated to finish up a batch of pedals as there's another batch right behind it. After I get done with the few that pay some bills, I'll be back onto the prototype combos.

Glad I didn't quit drinking.

This year just keeps getting worse.

I'm trying to backdoor a way to setup a powder coat booth at work for doing work samples...but really my motivation is using it after hours to do the fun colors. I really don't want another coating operation at my house. For obvious reasons.

I definitely like the idea of really exotic colors for my effects pedal builds, but in practice painting all these boxes especially only 1-2 the same color is time-consuming. The extra $2 for powder coated even if they're basic colors is an easy sell for me.

Well this week sucked and I still have a funeral to go to.

Now we're getting somewhere on these graphic layouts.

Not real big on these Amazon pots. About 20% are bad out of the box or after you solder once. Glad to almost be done with those. Spend the extra 10 cents and get real stuff. It's an asinine place to save pennies imo.

I'm doing a wire marathon in honor of Lance Reddick this weekend. His work on corporate is wildly underrated.

@jaysqueezie Just having anything functional they can see usually makes them happy. Apparently night paddling is unusual to them.

@jaysqueezie The man didn't see my lights and was trying to quiz me like I was on cops. But then we showed them the lights and they were ok.

Any time someone asks me how to haul a kayak or canoe on their vehicle I have to fight the urge to yell, "Face down, ass up!" The 90s in the suburbs were kinda weird.

Fortunately for me I don't want a white geet so it makes it easier to scroll by...for now.

@d0rkph0enix I don't know how I'd feel about this. I've gotten so many backhanded "awards" over the years, it might not feel like a gift. This might say more about me than anything though.

This isn’t our outage, but I still feel for our clients dealing with it. Would it be weird to offer to air drop those guys some brisket and bourbon for weekend survival? 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
