Lets be clear about what "Your body, my choice" means. This language is a threat to do harm to others. Its not funny, its not political, its not acceptable. Recognize violent language and recognize that we can put a stop to it in our communities.

Do you know what to do if someone you know experiences sexual violence? If someone shares that they were sexually assaulted: • Listen without judgment. • Express that you believe them. • Offer your support. • Offer to help connect them to resources in Kansas.

Teal is the color that represents sexual assault awareness and for the next two nights (April 4 & 5) the downtown Kansas City skyline will be lit up teal to honor survivors. Join us at @CABrewing tonight in the Crossroads and you'll see them!

Victims are often told to make their lives smaller to maximize safety. Different victims are willing (and unwilling) to make different compromises. Respect and plan around the victim’s priorities. #NSAM2023 #KnowItNameItStopIt

A stalking course of conduct can span an afternoon or a lifetime. Stalking cases are often dynamic and change over time, requiring ongoing risk assessment and safety planning. #NSAM2023 #KnowItNameItStopIt

Stalking can take on specific tactics — and implications — when abusers identify characteristics that they can exploit as part of the abuse, including sexual orientation and gender identity. #NSAM2023 #KnowItNameItStopIt
