@Tech_Buddha Amazing response! You should be teaching this stuff. ;-) All of that is so true. If you focus on one result, that's likely all you'll get! Without the other elements, trust (and your work) is not sustainable. Awesome! #KCSOSstrives

A4: If the bottom line is the only thing that is focused on, it will be the only thing achieved at the cost of all else.... culture, collaboration, psychological safety, innovation, ideation, iteration, and other components of a space that is successful! #kcsosstrives

@BoeschTeach Absolutely true. I've seen organizations reach out to community stakeholders for help - after ignoring them for years. That never turns out well. :) It's about more than dollars and cents. Considering your broader impact (internally and externally) is a must. #KCSOSStrives

A4: when taking a perspective that includes more than just the bottom line it helps us to recognize the broader impact that the team might be having on the community/organization #kcsoslearns

@ShiveRobin Boom. You hit the nail on the head with satisfaction. It's important not only to get results, but to get them the right way! From an HR perspective, that is critically important because you're talking about impact to real lives. #KCSOSstrives

Satisfaction within your company. Employee turn over slows down the momentum because you are bringing someone new into the culture and training them - increasing their capabilities within the company. Their intent may differ from the company’s mission and vision.#kcsosstrives

I think when high trust is present there can’t help but achieve results. An environment of high trust breeds collaboration and creativity #kcsoslearns

@ShiveRobin Ah, me as well. At every level I've seen the impact of pursuing results at the expense of integrity, intent, and capabilities. A huge "trust tax" almost always follows!

I have seen results of highly capable people who lack in social skills. They have bullied their way into power and get things done out of fear. #kcsosstrives

@Tech_Buddha Ah, very true! There's a quote from Stephen R. Covey that says "You can't talk your way out of something you behaved your way into." A good reminder that while words are important, actions matter just as much or more. Great reminder!

@KCSOSProfessio1 A culture of trust will always yield high results because the barriers are few and if there are barriers the team trusts each other and can help remove or jump over the barrier.
