Bruins rumored to be in the mix for Oilers LHD Darnell Nurse (4x$9.25m contract, w/ NMC). Assuming any potential trade would move out Lohrei (and picks/prospects). Nurse is a big body who can get his shot off from the point and lug the puck up ice. He gets overwhelmed defensively at times on the Oilers, but that's a roster with defensive flaws and weak depth. Nurse could make an elite top pairing next to Charlie McAvoy.

With the 157th pick, the Bruins select D Jacob Vandeven. 6-foot-6, left-shot defenseman. Joined the London Knights in January.

I initially had James Hagens playing 3-5 games in Providence before signing him to his ELC just to gauge his readiness. Hagens has played 6 games totaling 1 Goal and 3 Assists +/- of -1… If the #NHLBruins offense continues to fall flat today you gotta make the call…it’s time
