Found some sterilised milk yesterday and now having a brew with it. My Nan always had this milk and I’ve literally just been transported back to the summers I stayed at her house in Brum 🥺

@SamMcCartney @presley_dave My dad was from Ward End/Stetchford and he called his mum “mom” or “mater” Grandma was from Cradley Heath so maybe that’s why. He called his dad “pop” I grew up in Sutton Coldfield so def Mum & Dad

@presley_dave I know! Haha! I had the same convo with a chap who’s from Dudley at work. I caught that accent and I asked if Brum 🤣🤣🤣 I said my dad was from Castle Bromwich/ Shard End. He said”on I’m sorry”🤣🤣 lovely family with good banter. Not often that happens in my job haha

Why is it that my friends from Europe and beyond use the term “mom” and not “mum”??

Lovely family meeting today to plan the celebration of their daughter’s life. A young woman full of love for her family and they for her. Their care, emotional and physical is remarkable
