Nostalgia for the 1990s is strong because excellence across multiple arenas in pop culture was obvious and undeniable, and this excellence enhanced our quality of life. Fame had to be earned, we could enjoy things together, and algorithms had yet to atomize and divide us. It was an amazing time to be alive.
