@JustEsBaraheni Raptors fan here but DeMar’s impact on the league is so minimal to be on that list. Sure, you’ve got strong arguments for his scoring ability, but he’s a guy who will be easily forgettable for his impact on the league over his time.

Yes he has his flaws as a player (playoff hoops, 3-point shooting, defense) but he’s a wildly talented scorer who in his prime was an elite rim finisher and has been one of the best mid range scorers ever + great at drawing free throws

Just randomly looking into this but DeMar DeRozan is only about 2000 points away from being a top 10 scorer in NBA history. Seems pretty gettable. That’d be cool.

Yeah, if you have a kid who makes it to the junior A level you're looking at 10k+ a year. And the commitment from families is unbelievable. 5:30AM ice time for practices, travel all around the province and beyond for tournaments every weekend et cetera. It's unreasonable and unenjoyable for all but the most passionate parents, and I would add it to the very large list of reasons why people are less likely to want kids today than in previous generations. We're a hockey-free household over here. The kids can play football or basketball instead.

As a father planning future budgets hockey looks like an exceptionally unappealing sport to put my kids into. The prices for gear, ice time, etc are nuts compared to the cost of other sports.

The Titans are the team that should call the Dolphins and "buy a draft pick" by taking on the Tua contract. Stupid amount of cap space to take on the deal and he just becomes a non-threatening backup to Cam Ward.
