This scene is a good example of my issue with metalbending in Korra. In the original series, Toph had to be in physical contact with the metal, because it was much harder to bend than actual earth, because she was bending the impurities within it. Meanwhile, the metal bending in Korra is basically the opposite, they actually bend with far more precision than anyone bends earth with, which doesn't make any sense. It's kinda in the same vein as the lavabending, where instead of applying any actual logic to it, they treated the bending as pure sorcery. Korra doesn't learn it from anyone, she just has it, because she has more Bending Midiclorians than everyone else, I guess.

@Reismyname2 Bc it’s FINALLY coming out in 4K, like it should have done years ago. In IMAX last week, in other theaters this weekend/week, and on 4K Blu-ray next week. It was ahead of it time then, and needed now.

@WEDenterprise It was ahead of its time then, but I think it’ll catch on now. I always loved it, own it digitally, and it’s one of two movies I’ve always wanted in 4K (the other was Tron Legacy), and now is the time!!

@thehdroom Hate that I couldn’t get IMAX tickets, but I’m still seeing it in a regular theater next week and will hopefully get the 4K copy I preordered soon after
