Damn, life has been challenging AF. One thing after another kept piling on until it felt like my whole world flipped upside down and then exploded. Little fires everywhere. Couple of different things happened at once.. both extremely emotionally heavy, and I’ve been running on little sleep, high stress, and honestly, just shock. I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d need to hire lawyers (one back home, one here in NY), but it became inevitable. The good news: we moved. Yesterday was day one in the new place, and today I finally set up my desk, my computer & my IPad. After months of not feeling grounded, today finally felt good. I still carry sadness for how things unfolded and all the setbacks this year has thrown my way, but I truly hope this marks a turning point. Thank you to everyone who checked in on me. I’ll be going through messages this week, and your kindness meant the world to me. Truly. 🖤
